Ravar County (Persian: شهرستان راور) is a county in
Kerman Province in

Ravar is the very northern city of Kerman province.
It is on the border of Kerman province and the large desert area of the Southern Khorasan province, called Loot desert (Kavir-e-Loot). Carpet weaving is one of the main industries of the city, and the carpets produced there are renowned internationally.
This art is a very old tradition in Ravar.
