Gaz Jami Mosque is called machad bale (in Persian: مچد بله) in Gazi Dialect. It is thousand years old. It is the oldest historical work of Dolat Abad city in the north of Isfahan.
The mosqe is built on Khar over the relic of the fire temple built at the behest of Bahman the son of Isfandyar. This is a small mosque with four Iwans, belongs to Salageghe era.
You can find significant works in this site. Saljooghy Alter in the west Iwan and some inscriptions on the azure title belongs to Ghajar period in the east Iwan are good examples of the marvelous works of these place that catch the eyes of every viewer.
North, south, east and west Iwans are two by two symmetrical.
This mosque has been registered in national heritage list as No. 324 .
