Hoor Al-Azim is the remains of big Beinol Nahrein wetland which is the biggest wetland of khuzestan province. It is a wetland with an area of 500000 hectares which is located at a distance between two countries (Iran and Iraq).
This wetland had an area of two million hectares in past times but nowadays just an area of 500 hectares of this wetland is remained. This Hoor has a length of 100 km and a width of 75 km.
Water level of Hoor Al-Azim is almost half-meter till three meters. 94 segments of oil well are dug in Hoor-Al Azim wetland and each of them has an active torch.
