Khargushi Castle Caravanserai is located between Isfahan and yazd, it is one of the most important caravanserais in Safavid period.
The nearest village to this Caravanserai is located at the distance of 7 kilometres.
This Caravanserai has an area of 6400 square meters, it is placed in the middle of the desert which can be used as a very beautiful and suitable observatory.
This Caravanserai has two floors, its second floor is a Shahneshin (alcove) including platforms, chambers, stable and a wall on its roof with two meters width.
The whole of this mason is built with granite and brick, even the platforms and the stable are made of stone and it may be the most important reason that this building has been firm till today.
We can refer to brickwork in the patio and the stone inscription as the decorations of this building. This Caravanserai registered as one of the Iran’s national monuments.
