Tootesiah banned hunting region is an area under protection of environment department and is located at Fars province at the end of Bavanat rejoin, it has an area about 20000 hectares.
This is a vast area and because of having the rare species of flora and fauna is under protection.
This site is one of the most valuable wildlife habitats of the province and country. There is a habitat for species of flora and fauna. This area has been banned for hunting.
The area has two quite high mountain ranges named Koohsefid and Omarkooh with a height more than 2800 m that is counted of the ranges of Zagros Mountain.
The regional rainfall is about 350 mm that in the highlands is in form of snow.
There are some specific species, such as mountain tea, Rhubarb, etc.
and beautiful landscapes such as Kangohar crave are some interesting touristic attractions of the region.
