Fall Historical cemetery is located at Fall village in Mohr township. In this cemetery is found more than 50 historival box-like gravestone in different sizes that belong to eighth and eleventh centuries AD.
There are some stones with a variety of engineering designs, plants pattern, Quranic verses and the name of great intellectuals are seen in this cemetery.
Lateral surfaces and on the top of these stones are decorated with third lines and geometric shapes. The content of the written statements include: Quranic verses in lateral part, the name of deceased, the Date of burial, the name of the person who made it and some bits of Persian poetry.
Fall is an ancient village that was so famous in Fars as a symbol of the historical city in Islamic period.
Fall cemetery is under protection of the General Administration of Cultural Heritage of Fars.
This site has been registered as one of the national monuments of Iran in2002 with the registration number 9209.
