Mahravieh wildlife shelter
Mahravieh forest with an extent about 55831 hectars is one of the oldest and largest forestry mesquite tree in southeast of Iran and biggest wildlife shelter in south of Kerman province which is established by unesco.
Mahravieh wildlife shelter is residence of fancolin and jirofty breeding which are two species of Iran native birds that are rare species and well supported.
Kalmorad mountain is one of the near height to the area that is habitat of asianblack bear. This shelter due to oldest mesquite trees of Iran and being proper and unique for survival of native and supported birds generation like fancolin and jirofty,have a special importance.
The main objective of protection of this shelter is preserving the remaining Iranian mesquite tropical forests.
