Farasfaj Caravansary with an area of almost 4000 square meters is located at the distance of 23 km of the southwest of Toviserkan. This Caravansary is one of Caravansaries of Safavid era.
It is known as Shah Abbasi caravansary. This unique caravansary had been the resort for caravans, traders and pilgrimages for many years.
The architecture style of this building belongs to Safavid era and it was built in eleventh century.
Body of its walls is made of adobe bricks but the foundation of chamber's walls is made with stone and brick. Interesting point that makes this caravansary different from others is its barbican.
