Gonsepan or Pa Tappeh hill is one of the tallest ancient hills in Iran with a height of 28 m.The hill is over 6 thousand years old. This ancient hill is including several layers.
Under Parthia layers archaeologists were able to detect adobe tissue architecture integrated in the entire hill and belonged to the Iron Age 3. Archaeological evidence suggests that the first castle on the hill was built by Parthian.
This castle has several rooms and some of them have columns. In the Islamic era some big bricks with 34/34 dimensions and even bigger has been used for construction.
