Dizmar is a mountainous and forest area which a part of it known as protected area in 1390. Dizmar is well-known as an important wild life corridor in local, national and international grade because it is connected to Kiyamaki protected area in west, Arasbaran in the east and National Park of Zagatay in Republice of Azerbaijan and Armenia in the north.
By the way, Aras river crosses from this area. It`s been identified in this area 849 types of animals and birds such as black rooster, Roe buck( a kind of deer), Kal( a kind of goat), wild goat, boar, brown beer, caracal, wild cat, jungle cat(reed cat), leopard, fox, jackal, wolf and some kinds of birds such as Caucasian black rooster, partridge, Caspian snow cock, francolin and the pheasant of Arasbaran.
