The mosquse has been built before World War II. Its founder was Mahmood Agha Ilkhani Zadeh and its architect was Mr. Maragheie. The building of the mosque is quadrangle and it is considered as one of the unique religious architectures in Iran.
This mosque is compounded of rubble stones around the mine, mud brick and walnut lumber. The foundation of the building that is hurricane proof and earthquake proof has underpinned at the depth of 20 m.
The whole groin of the mosque shows the art of brick masonry. This art is combined beautifully and marvelously to signify the unity and diversity in architecture, and that is one of the prominent features of this mosque.
