Zinegan is a very beautiful cave in Ilam. This wonderful cave is located 52 kilometers from Mehran in the southeast of Saleh Abad. Actually it is a strait or as some people call it; an open cave with several vestibules, halls, stalactites, stalagmites and plenty of water.
The temperature difference between inside the cave and outside is surprisingly so great that its second name is Paradise Cave.
In summer the difference reaches 20 to 30 °C. The cave is said to be 6 km long with several halls, vestibules and many stalactites and stalagmites.
There is plenty of water in the cave that in some parts you have to walk through water and get wet.
There exist several species of flora with an amazing environment. This cave is one of the important tourist attractions of the province.
