The mountainous village Dimeh is located 10 kms north-east of the town of Chelgard, in the vicinity of
Koohrang Region, in an altitude of 2240 meters above the sea level.
Previously it used to be a summer quarter for Bakhtiari tribe, but has changed to a village in the recent century. Dimeh enjoys mild springs and summers, but its winters are cold and snowy.
Its people speak Farsi in Bakhtiari
Dialect and are active in agriculture, animal husbandry and handicrafts; they also work in workshops to bottle drinking water, or on the fish farms.
Celery, mushroom, and dairy products are considered as the best souvenirs of this village.
What has made Dimeh village famous is a spring named Dimeh in its vicinity. According to the experts, its water is one of the best kinds of drinking waters in the world and has numerous therapeutic properties such as preventing the teeth from decaying and healing kidney stone.

The existence of trees like Chestnut and poplar around the spring, in addition to beautiful sceneries of mountains and the adjacent fertile plain, have made it a real tourist attraction site.
The tourists visiting this area are provided with proper accommodations.
Near Dimeh Spring, there is a mineral water bottling plant whose products are not only sold in domestic market, but also exported. It is worth mentioning that a few other mineral water bottling plants are under construction and the largest plant of mineral water in the Middle East is to be based in this region.
Two rainbow trout fish farms have also started operating near the spring. With regards to the water quality of Dimeh Spring, the fish grown in its water are very delicious.
Dimeh Spring is also of archeological significance; the discovery of some cultural and historical objects including bricks and Pottery near the spring is a proof to that claim.
According to the head of the Cultural Heritage Organization of Chaharmahal-o-Bakhtiari province, Dimeh Spring is located near a historic area related to the Ashkanid period.
Two other historic areas related to the Achamenian period and the Iron Age are 100 meters away from the spring.
