Meymand Village
Meymand is a rock village with 4201 square kilometer and has 8000 to 12000 years old. 10 thousand year old inscription(figures) and 6000 Ceramics are discovered documents in meymand.
Mithraism was common before advent of Zoroastrian religion in Persia and in meymand,Mithraism believed in mountain endurance and based on this believe they built their houses in the mountains.
This village was world’s seventh historical-cultural-natural perspective which received mercury prize. Meymand is very beautiful in spring. In this village all houses is rocky and steep in 2 to 5 floors with cuts as horizontal gap is created.
Meymand bathroom which like their homes digged in rocks are wonders of these houses that like traditional bathrooms have treasury and a hole top of the locker room and a marble stone placed on it and this rock reflect the light in the bathroom and infact it’s light source of bathroom.
