Ayyub cave
Ayyub is name of the biggest igneous cave of Iran with largestcrater that has shrine role and located in a mountain with same name and height about three thousand and two hundred meter in 7 kilometer south of dehaj city.
The main feature of the cave is it’s huge carter in the middle of the mountain and in high height about 60 to 80 meter. In the corner of eastern wall, a narrow artery of water flow from the roof and at the foot of the wall,there is a small pool.
A little higher in pool side,there is a flat place which in center of it we can see a little hole which known as having or wish pool. Local believe that if a hopeful make a wish and throw a rock inside it,if the rock after direct contact throwed to up and outside of having,the wish will be granted.
In southwest side of cave in middle of thin wall of rock there is a circle shaped hole with low diameter which known as legitimate and illegitimate and visitors trying to pass it with head and laying down.
Between pool and legitimate and illegitimate hole,there are places for sitting and resting of tired pilgrims which called house.
