Zoozan village is located in the south of Razavi Khorasan province. Zoozan is famous for its historical background including historic monuments, the ancient mosque and Malak Zoozan palace (Qahereh Castle).
Zoozan’s historical mosque belongs to 616 AH.
There has been used abundance of azure tiles. In fact it is considered as one of the oldest Iranian buildings that its exterior groin is decorated with bicolor tiles.
Animal husbandry, agriculture, handicrafts and Carpet-weaving are the different occupations in Zoozan which can supply some of the people’s needs.
