Azarbaijan Gharbi has different types of handicrafts due to religiousand ethnic diversity and proximity with several countries. The handicrafts are divided in 2 categories:
1- Wooden handicrafts such as inlay, Moaragh, sculpturing, lattice, eleganceand etc.
2- Fibers handicrafts such as Carpet, Gelim, traditional fabrics, Jajim and… with original designs such as: Riz Mahi in Khoee, Afshar fish In Takab and 3- Toranj in Mahabad.
Traditional fabrics (Jolaee) are more in Kurdish areas and tent and pray Carpet are woven in south.
