Apadana palaces
Shush’s Apadana Palace was built in darius period,about 515 years to 521 bc and by his command on Elamite remnant.
The walls of this palace is made of adobe with brick façade and it’s pillars are of rocks.
It’s interior walls are covered with glazed brick and it has immortal guard soldiers,winged lion and lotus flowers figure. Significiant parts of the palace at the time of Artaxerxes I (461BC) were on fire and reconstructed at the time of Artaxerxes II (359BC).
Finally like other palaces of Achaemenian , this palace destroyed during the invasion of alexander.
