Asak city is an ancient and abandoned city which is located on the south side of Omidiye city, near Asiyab village, also on east south of Hendijan and in Kiyan mountain.
Asak city is famous because of a war between Azareghe khawarij and Abidol Lahenbe Ziyad army which was happened in this region. Asak city had been famous because of a volcano.
It should be noted that ancient volcano of Asak city which is located near Kheyt Zabid village and Asphalt company of Omidiye, is a very worth seeing place.
People of Asak city were Zoroastrian before Islam. They have come to this volcano in special days and have worshiped.
