Seyeda Khatoon Cave is the biggest cave in Arsanjan area that can be seen at a distance. This is a prehistoric cave that is located at 4 km to the road of Arasjan to Abadetashak.
The name of the cave was derived from the name a person who had lived there many years ago.
The mouth of the cave is 42 m, the depth is 32 m and the height of the mount is 40 m. the height of the cave is 1691 m from the sea level and 17 m from the surrounding lands.
The exploration of the cave was a shared working project between Iranian and Japanese archaeologists with cultural heritage research license.
Over the explorations in the lower and harder layers of the cave, animal's remains and 10 thousand stone pieces are found.
The results of the excavations indicate humans’ settlement during Paleolithic era in this area. There has been discovered hunting tools made of stone, bones belonging to the animals like horse and a structure at the bottom of the cave which was a place for storing water.
