Sheikh Daniyal ' minaret is located in the city of Khonj in shiraz and is one the unique minarets of Iran.
The minaret is situated on the north side of his tomb and 25 m of it is remained.
The upper side of the minaret is collapsed and destroyed.
Shekh Daniel Khonji was a Sufi in seventh century AH. He was righteous and pious in his own age and was always respected by people during his lifetime and after his death.
The minaret has been built of red stone, compo, mortar and tile.
This cylindrical minaret is constructed on an octagonal base and decorated by some materials like stone and tile. It has an Inscription in Kufic script and Nasta'liq.
Upper side of the octagon which is circular is decorated by colorful tiles in Tagetes shape.
A t the top, there are some inscriptions in rhombus and square shapes and the names of Prophet Mohammad and other prophets besides the names of holy Imams are written on those inscriptions.
