Arjan Behbahan castle was built in Sassanid era for defense against the attack of Arab tribes. This castle is located in west north of Behbahan. It was built by Ariya Barzan which is called Ariyo Barzan in Roman.
Castle is located on the top of a mountain which leans on a big stone and rain's water poured from stone to the castle's storages and made them full of water.
Style of these towers' buildings is extracted of roman materials also it has cube shape. Apron of arjan Castle is almost vast and there are three chamber floors on the apron side.
All of these chambers have special arches which have several branches. These arches are called Roman arches which are the strongest arches.
