Sheikh Alikhan Safavi water storage is the second ceiling reservoir and also a rare example of reservoirs in Iran. It is located in Assad Abad city, in a neighborhood called water storage.
According to the architects this neighborhood was called Karvansara in the past. This name has been taken due to an old Karvansara over there but it has been demolished later.
There are mosque, bath and the market in the center of this neighborhood .Among them, only bath has maintained its historic atmosphere. In the past, a marble inscription has been stuck on the left wall of the water storage corridor.
