Ansarud step village is one of the villages in eastern Azerbaijan. Historical mosque and rock bath, beautiful Soltan mountain, amazing fountains of village made a collection of natural and historical beauty.
The space of Ansarud mosque is about 570 square meter and it`s the biggest mosque in the country which dates back to the early period of Qajar period.
However , some signs such as chamber that dates back to Ilkhan period and special carving and architecture which used in the building, say that it`s possible this building dates back to 1500 years ago.
Based on the structure of entrance part of the mosque, it`s unlikely to be a mosque and more reliable to be a temple before Arab invades ( Islam). Ansarud village has many mineral fountains and very beautiful summer nature.
