Imamzadeh Seyyed Jafar (peace be upon him) is located near Darvazde Qoran in the entrance of yazd. Two naves with a very large dome, in the west and the east sides of the mosque, are connected to the holy sanctuary and surround it like a pearl.
There is a wide variety in colour of tiles and usage of clay bricks in the building, which are designed based on the model of Central Organization Affairs. This holy place consists of a golden shrine and a dome with 9mm diameter and 25 meters height.
Inside of the dome you see mirror work and outside of that you will see tile work. The interior decoration contains: portal, iwan, tile work, mirror and stalactite work.
There is also an inscription in Sols handwriting. The construction Date of this monument is 575 AD.
