Sheikh Heydar, the grandson of Sheikh Safi Ardabili, the son of Sheikh Joined and Khadija, king Ismaeel father, was born in Meshginshahr.
His
tomb is west of
Ardabil, in the center of Meshginshahr. On July 18th, in 1311 AD, it was recorded as national monument. This
tomb is in the green garden where oldest cemetery of Meshginshahr, located in the
City Center was.
The exterior view of the building is like a high tower and cylindrical structure. From the outside this monument is like a
Round Tower and from the inside, it is like a 12-sided structure.
The
tomb from outside is decorated with turquoise tiles with verses from Holy Quran.
The building consists of two floors, the basement`s door is located in the north part of the tower.
There are seven graves in the basement, six of them are in the center of dome, and another one is located at the end of basement.
