Inverted tulip field is one of the tourism attractions of Iran. Fereydoonshahr inverted tulips with an area of 30 thousand hectares is the most unique inverted tulip fields in the province and the country.
Inverted tulip is a perennial plan with beautiful flower form lilies family.
Inverted tulip fields can be seen in the vicinity of Zagros Mountains, on the foothill of Shahan Kooh, around Langan Spring,Gardane Galooni, Dareshadi and most of the rural areas of Isfahan.
This is from a herbaceous bulbous plan and is perennial that is already recognize among 60 species.
It is interesting to know that this plant had a great role in myths and history of Iran, such as the story about Siavash in Shahnameh.
With the beginning of spring most of the areas of Fereydoonshahr are covered with the beauty of these tulips in both red and yellow colors and catch everybody’s eye.
The height of these beautiful flowers is between 100 to 120 centimeters .they are like a bell that are large and red, but sometime they are orange and maybe yellow.
