Poonezre waterfall is one of the most beautiful waterfalls of Iran. It is located in 25 kilometers of the west of Fereydoonshahr close to Darband village and emanate from Zagros.
It has several cool and refreshing sources.
Its height is about 70 meters. There are several clean and fresh springs in upstream and in downstream you can find some aquaculture projects.
Most of the waterfall of Isfahan are located in Fereydoonshar and Samirom cities which according to cultural and tourism heritage, Poonezar waterfall of Fereydoonshahr is the highest waterfall of Isfahan and the sixth tallest waterfall of Iran.
Due to the growing of oregano through its waterways is known as Poonezar waterfall. In Georgian Language is known as Bidniani.
Many of wild and medical flowers of Iran can be found in its surrounding mountains.
