Abarkouh County has almost 50 castles, and the most notable one is Robat castle.
Robat castle belongs to Safavid period. This castle, which was once residential, has nine round towers figured with geometric ornaments.
Square and diamond shapes have been figured all around the tower. The towers are divided in three parts: down tower, middle tower and head tower. The used materials in tower’s building are cob and stone.
The main entrance door is located in the eastern side of the building. This tower has been registered as one of the Iran’s national monument.
