Lachek
There are traditional dressings in every part of the country, Iran. People of Mazandaran Province have their own traditional folkloric clothes as well.
One of the traditional clothes of local women of Mazandaran Province is called Lachek meaning head scarf. Lachek is tied on the forehead and the whole head from behind.
The margins of the Lachek are usually decorated with colorful threads or patterns and paintings. Young women usually decorate the Lachek with silver colored seeds called Tasbih.
Sometimes, there are coins inside the seeds one after one to decorate the Lachek more beautifully. Lachek is very beautiful traditional head wearing of local people of Mazandaran and many tourists and visitors buy it as souvenir.
