The said lake is located to the north of Noshahr, cradled amidst the forest. The natives believe this lake to be sacred. It is a sweet water lake with an area of less than half a hectare.
The same provides a natural refuge for a variety of birds and wildlife. This beautiful region due to its natural landscape is breath-taking specially in the spring , summer and autumn seasons.
The lake is located in forestlands and has catechetic venerability in localism. This freshwater lake is less than 0.5 hectare; it is far from human activities and located in Central Alborz protected area, so a shelter for birds and animals.
Khezr-e-Nabi Lake has attractive views and natural environment. Due to excavations, some parts of the lake natural wall was destroyed and about 65% of it became dry; also around 10000 squares meter of northern forestlands of the lake were destroyed because of a landslide that led to the drying of several springs around the lake.
