One of my interests in my travels is tasting the local foods. If you are going to visit Astara, don't miss Lavangi, kind of stuffed whitefish or chicken, with the same mortar used for the dressed olives: Pomegranate sauce, Pomegranate seeds, ground walnuts, etc.
