Hawk dome is a marvelous architectural work belongs to Safavid era. It is located on circular rubble stone with the height of one to three meters and is situated over the highest point of Karkas Mountain.
Due to its fame it is known as Hawk Dome and is called Hawk dome of Natanz.
This historic monument is one of the remarkable attractions for tourists in Natanz and because of its location above one of Karkas peaks; it’s not easy for everyone to get there.
Thus walking on this mountain and getting to this dome is a difficult job but it is visible from a distance.
This dome and its beautiful vault that has a small room and building, is small and strong site that you have to bear a little suffer to reach there but as soon as you reach there you won’t feel tired anymore because of watching its beautiful bricks, old adobe and cemented stone foundations.
On the ceiling inside the dome is a circular hatch that its inner groin of stem and outer covering of the dome can be seen easily from there.
