Birin mosque dates back to Ilkhanate period about 800 years ago. This monument approved in 1384/2005 as an archeological monument . there are 2 explanations based on the name of Birin mosque: in Khaled Abadi Language Birin means out because this mosque built out of the city. The word of Birin is a deconstructed form of barin and means up or heaven, because it was built in the upper part of the city and was located in green gardens.
