Moorche Khort is a historical bricked castle with 15000 square meters and high towers which is located 50 kilometers far from north of Isfahan. The exact history of building that is one of the Islamic relics is still not determined, but it is reported that it dates back to the 9th century Hijri and some says its history is before the Safavid dynasty period.
That was a safe place for rebels for a short period of time but now it needs our help. The building is made of adobe and bricks that became smaller and weaker by passing time.
This barrier possesses three gates and also eight guard towers.
In terms of architectural style and urbanization, expert said that it is the most important historical castle in Iran after Arg-e Bam. It has two main entrances which is situated at the northwest and southwest of the castle and is directly linked to each other with main passage.
Since it was a well-equipped castle, the residents did not need anything if the castle would close to the world out.
