Mahyar Caravanserai is one of the famous caravanserais in Safavid era which is built in Mahyar village, 52 kilometers from the south of Isfahan.
Mahyar was regarded as one of the most important villages in Safavi which some of the foreign tourists visited this village at that time and recorded a description about it.
This Caravanserai was built during the reign of Shah Ismail, but some of its parts destroyed by the natural disasters, then it rebuilt in the reign of Shah Soleiman Safavi and some parts added.
There is built thirty rooms with the same measures of 5*4 meters all around the yard, and each of them has a separate porch. There are also four stables across the four corners of the Caravanserai.
