Isfahan Bazar is one of the oldest and greatest bazaars in the Middle East. French Jean Chardin has mentioned Gheysarie Bazaar and Isfahan great bazaar with its incredible portal, decorated tile works and broad platforms that are made of jade and porphyry and are mostly used by jewelers and goldsmiths.
Isfahan great bazaar is along the Jame Mosque and Oryan bazaar. This bazaar because of its proximity to the Nezamolmolk Dome and Jame mosque is also called Nezamieh or Nezamolmolki Bazaar; in fifty years ago there were several long strands which connected this bazaar to Darvaze Quchi Bazaars, Ghaz Bazar and Vasl Square.
