The plain of Barm and its oak forest is located at 30 km of the east of Kazeroon and in the route of Kazeroon to shiraz.
Baram’s plain, is the largest oak’s plain of Iran and is considered as the last southern forests of Zagros.
Baram’s plain has a remarkable flora and fauna, besides oak, it consists of forested species such as mountainous almond, Kialak and Arjan. It has an important role in the temperature of the southern regions of the country; this is a protected area.
Abundant of oak forests with flowers like poppies in late winter and spring besides snowy winter in this area made the plain looks like a beautiful paradise in Fars.
The biodiversity in this area is so high that the researchers both from country and out of the country took several samples of its existing plants.
