This fire temple is situated at 10 km. south-east of Kazeroon. It belongs to Sassanid era. It was possible to think it was a fire temple in Sassanid period but based on different evidences such as not being destroyed, in next periods there were some other theories in regard with its application.
It is situated at low hills; it couldn’t be seen from far distance thus it seems a small fire temple. It is a four-arched building; buildings of this type are found in abundance in Iran.
The building is a square hall in which each side of it has a way to the outside of the building by an oval arch; there was also a dome over it but it has been destroyed entirely and nothing of it is remained, it is not clear whether it was made of brick or stone pieces.
Kazeroon Fire Temple has been registered in Iran national monument’s list in 1318 AD.
