In Pahlavi era eighteen small and large palaces were built in Saadabad which they exhibit Iranian art and architecture. Sine 1979 revolution, this complex was turned into museum.
This Museum is inside the of the more impressive buildings and houses of some charming Persian Oil Paintings dating back to the 18th century and some beautiful inlaid furniture.
The expansive Museum of Fine Arts is located in a building near the front gate; it served as the royal court between 1968 and 1979 and now exhibits furniture and paintings by modern and older Iranian artists, plus Western painters including Salvador Dali.
This three storeyed palace displayed paintings from the Safavid , Zandiyeh and Qajar periods in addition to paintings of contemporary and European artists of the 17th-20th centuries.
