The museum of vitray is located in an old house in Sa'adi Street, Tehran.
Most of the works belong to Safavid era until the present century that are entrusted to the Cultural Heritage Organization. This museum is the second vitray museum in the world.
It is the only independent museum has been dedicated to one of the branches of miniature. The museum contains a vast collection of vitrays in Iran.
The subjects of these paintings include images of human, flowers and birds, geometrical images, pictures of animals, monuments, urban landscapes, nature, Qur’an lines, portraits, and figures of women according to Ghajar painting styles or miniature works.
