Vardij is the name of a wonderful village that is assumed to be the dominating territory of stony people. It is located in Sulqan Rural District, Kan District, Tehran Province.
It is like a natural gallery that haunts both mind and imagination of a man. These figures are also called “Jian Mannequin”; the reason of their appearance in these shapes is ambiguous.
Some people believe this site is the remnants of an ancient castle, but the idea is just a suspicion. Some others believe that these figures have formed as a result of erosion.
“Lat Mal” is the name of a waterfall in this village where polished stones draw visitors’ attentions.
